The consent statement
Our request form asks you to check a box next to this statement. Checking it and clicking "Get my path" acts as your electronic signature:
"By checking this box and clicking 'Get my path,' I agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice, and I provide my express written consent for BetterStandingHub and its partners, including credit repair companies, credit counseling organizations and other financial services providers, to contact me about credit-related products and services at the phone number and email address I entered, including by calls and text messages sent using automated technology or an artificial or prerecorded voice, even if my number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. I may revoke consent at any time."
We keep a record of your consent, including the statement shown, the date and time, and technical details of your submission.
Optional, always
You never have to agree to automated calls or texts to buy any product or service. If you don't want to be contacted this way, leave the box unchecked. You can still learn from our website or contact a credit services provider directly.
Our partners
Based on your state, your answers and availability, your request may be shared with one or more partners in these categories:
- credit repair companies;
- nonprofit and for-profit credit counseling organizations;
- debt management and financial wellness providers;
- credit-building product providers, such as secured card and credit-builder loan issuers; and
- marketing companies and call centers acting on behalf of the partners above.
To request a current list of partners, email [email protected] with the subject "Partner list."
Types of contact
- Calls about your request, which may use automated dialing systems or artificial or prerecorded voices.
- Text messages with updates and related offers. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Emails about your request and related offers, each with an unsubscribe link.
We and our partners contact consumers only during hours permitted by federal and state law in your local time zone.
How to opt out
You can revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, for example:
- reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE or OPT OUT to any text;
- tell the caller you don't want further calls;
- use the opt-out option in a prerecorded message;
- click "unsubscribe" in any email; or
- email [email protected] or call (602) 555-0139 with the number and email to remove.
Reply HELP to any text for assistance. We honor opt-outs promptly and within the time required by law. Partners maintain their own lists, so please also ask any partner that contacts you to stop.
Do Not Call
We maintain an internal Do Not Call list. Your consent allows contact even if your number is on a federal or state Do Not Call registry, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Your number
Provide only a number you own or regularly use. If you receive messages meant for someone else, or you give up your number, please tell us so we can update our records.
