What an opt-out means
We share requests with credit services partners and may be compensated, and we allow advertising cookies on our site. Some state laws treat these activities as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or as "targeted advertising."
After you opt out, we stop selling and sharing your personal information going forward and, where required, notify third parties that received it in the prior 90 days. Opting out does not prevent us from sending your request to a provider you specifically ask us to connect you with.
Global Privacy Control
Turning on Global Privacy Control in a supported browser or extension sends an automatic opt-out signal. Where required by law, we honor it for that browser. Enable it on each browser and device you use.
Other rights
Depending on where you live, you may also be able to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, limit the use of sensitive information and appeal our decisions. Verification and agents
We don't require identity verification for opt-outs, though we may ask for details to locate your records. For access, deletion and correction requests, we match the information you provide with our records. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require your signed permission and confirm your identity directly with you.
